Hello, I’m Dr. Heidi. It’s truly an honor to care for you and your pets, and I’m committed to working hard to meet your needs with compassion and dedication. Before opening my home clinic, I served as the medical director of a mobile veterinary practice in the greater Phoenix area. I’ve been a veterinarian for over 11 years, with the last several devoted to telemedicine.

I believe in a holistic approach that values both the emotional needs of families and the physical health of their pets. My goal is to provide care that is not only effective, but also nurturing and supportive for you and your beloved companion.

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, but I’ve lived in Arizona since 2017, and I truly love it here—an Arizonan through and through. I am a proud graduate of the University of Idaho and Washington State University. I’ve had the privilege of serving as a small-animal veterinarian, a medical director, and a surgeon at the top of my field.

Outside of work, I’m a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom to three adorable kids. Our household also includes three dogs (one Weimaraner and two poodle mixes) and one very special blind cat. At home, you’ll often find me baking a serious chocolate chip cookie and enjoying time with my family.

Telemedicine Philosophy

I see telemedicine as a powerful tool to support families right where they are. It can help with decision-making, early intervention, behavior and training questions, navigating nutrition at every life stage, and supporting pets and families during difficult seasons. Telemed doesn’t replace in-person exams, but it can make veterinary care more accessible, especially when travel, anxiety, or timing make traditional visits difficult.
