Why we exist, what we refuse to compromise, and how we protect your pet’s care.
We’ve seen what the large online veterinary platforms are doing behind the scenes — and we refuse to participate in a system that quietly undervalues the doctors who care for your pets.
For a time, we provided telemedicine through a major third-party app. At first, veterinarians set their own fees and the platform added a small service charge. Over time, the platform changed the rules, the pricing, and eventually the entire financial model.
None of those changes benefited the veterinarian or the pet owner.
Veterinarians set their price. Then the platform added a hidden markup. Pet owners paid more — but veterinarians didn’t earn more.
Then the system shifted entirely to deals and bundles. Pet owners were charged less, while platforms kept more. Veterinarians were suddenly earning about $40 for 30–60 minutes of real medical work.
A licensed veterinarian — a doctor with nearly a decade of education, a professional license, malpractice liability, and responsibility for the life of your pet — was valued less than a handyman, plumber, mechanic, or general contractor.
We will not normalize that.
We charge $75 per telemedicine visit + $20 processing to cover overhead because:
There are no hidden fees. No platform surcharges. What you pay is what your veterinarian earns.
If we bring on additional providers, their fees will be clearly disclosed as well. No opacity. No corporate games. No middlemen siphoning value.
When veterinarians are compensated fairly:
Corporate platforms race to the bottom. We draw a line — protecting the profession and your pet’s quality of care at the same time.
