Important Heartworm Safety
Heartworm prevention should be veterinarian-led. Your veterinarian may recommend heartworm testing before starting or restarting preventive medication depending on your dog's age, history and lapse in prevention.
Do not substitute concentrated livestock ivermectin or calculate a livestock dose for your dog on your own. Veterinary products and concentrations differ, and dosing errors can be dangerous.
